COURSE DURATION:

We specialize in Nursing Assistant and Nursing Aid programs.

Weeks: Four weeks
Hours: Classroom: 60 Hours, Laboratory: 18 Hours, Clinical: 42 Hours
Note: Hours above do not include 30 minutes for lunch or one hour of mandatory clinical orientation.

SESSIONS:

Day Program
Lecture: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Clinical: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Monday – Friday: Five (5) days/week for 4 weeks & 6 hours/day

Evening Program
Lecture: 4:00 PM – 10:00PM, Clinical: 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Monday – Friday: Five (5) days/week for 4 weeks & 6 hours/day

INSTRUCTION RATIO:

Classroom Ratio: 1:12 Theory Instructor (Registered Nurse)
Laboratory/Clinical Ratio: 1: 7 Laboratory/Clinical instructor(s) (Registered Nurse)

Our programs include:

Certified Medication Technician Program

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) program trains and certifies students for employment as a CMT in an intermediate care or skilled care nursing facility.

The CMT program is designed to train and teach students with the helpful skills in non-parenteral medications administration. This training qualifies students to perform this procedure and assist a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in medication therapy.
